The sixth World Women University Presidents Forum (WWUPF) was held in Beijing the other day. Shen Yueyue, President of the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF) attended and addressed the opening ceremony. Over 200 women university presidents from 54 countries and regions attended the forum.

This forum was held with the theme of “Women, Education and Leadership”. During the forum, through sub-forums, round tables, symposiums, salons and other activities, the participants discussed and exchanged ideas on such issues as cultivation and innovation of female leadership, promotion of the leadership of female and women university presidents, and organization of exchanges and mutual leaning.

Launched by Communication University of China, the World Women University Presidents Forum (WWUPF) aims at pooling the strength of women university presidents around the world, and building an international platform for them to communicate, collaborate, and share their thoughts and wisdom. Five forums have been held successfully since 2001, gathering over 800 attendances of woman university presidents from 79 countries and regions.
