(China Radio International Online, reported by Liu Sien)—— The Third World Women University President Forum opened on August 19th in Beijing, gathering over 200 women university presidents, well-known communication experts and leaders of media from 34 countries and regions.
Focusing on the theme of “Harmonious World & Cultural Diversity: The Responsibility of University and Media”, representatives will make a discussion on many issues, including the development of women leadership and higher education, media policy and gender equality, as well as cultural diversity and the development of women education.
It is said that a declaration will be released at the closing ceremony of the forum, in order to express participants’ common aspiration of building a harmonious and inclusive world featured with cultural diversity, gender equality, and sustainable development.
